Sentiment Analysis meets Linguistic Linked Data: An overview of the state-of-the-art
Carlos Iglesias (Intelligent Systems Research Group, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)
Carlos A. Iglesias received a telecommunications engineering degree and a PhD in telecommunications, both from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in 1993 and 1998, respectively. He is an associate professor and, since 2014, Head of the Intelligent Systems Research Group, in UPM’s Telecommunications Engineering School. He has been a principal investigator on numerous research grants and contracts in the field of advanced social intelligent systems, funded by regional, national and pan-European bodies. His main research interests include social computing, multiagent systems, information retrieval, sentiment and emotion analysis, linked data, and web engineering.
